FIKA

Fika breaks are the best. See a cute and accurate description of fika below. Taken from www.swedishfood.com ✨

“Fika is often translated as "a coffee and cake break", which is kind of correct, but really it is much more than that.

Fika is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat.”

Fredags fika

Today I started my day like any other day, snoozing to my alarm. I was so mad at myself this morning for booking a Flywheel class but once I got up, and worked out, I was beyond happy. My endorfins were all over the place and I got SO much done before work, best feeling ever. I also got my grades back, four A's and two B's, wihooooo! Great day. Hope you all have a happy Friday <3
